5. Meetings and Events
Members are requested to book all meetings prior to attending and must make every endeavour to inform MNC if they cannot attend once booked. If a member attends a meeting without booking and the event is at capacity they will not be permitted their pitch time. They may stay at the meeting at the Manager’s discretion but this cannot be guaranteed. Special events may require payment before attending. Meetings will take place as stated on the website and are subject to alteration without prior notice. Different venues have different crèche arrangements and these are subject to payment locally or occasionally offered as complimentary. These arrangements are subject to alteration without prior notice. MNC may have to cancel meetings due to factors outside our control. We will endeavour to make every effort to avoid this and notify members but we will not be liable under any circumstances for any cancellation. If a speaker who is booked for a special event does not attend, The MNC will not be liable for such non-attendance.
Members agree to comply with all health and safety regulations and policies of all host venues.
MNC operates a non-exclusive, open to all policy. There is no limit on members from the same profession or discipline attending with exception being representatives or consultants from the same network marketing company. There will be a limit of 2 people representing the same organisation. There is no minimum or maximum number of meetings for attendance. Corporate membership terms and conditions are available on application.
Members may promote/represent the business or line of work that led them to join MNC. Multiple businesses or a new line of work/business may be promoted at the discretion of the Manager and cannot be guaranteed. The Manager may refer this to MNC HQ for a ruling and the Directors decision will be binding.
Members who run networking groups that may conflict with MNC or whose networking activities are deemed to be in competition with MNC, may not promote these groups or networks without express written permission from the Directors. The Directors reserve the right not to give this permission and no explanation may be forthcoming.
Members are required to contact MNC in advance of an event start time if they can no longer attend a meeting previously booked. If the member is deemed to be a ‘no show’ (i.e. they have not turned up and no prior warning or explanation, within a reasonable time frame after the event, is received) this could affect their entitlement to book future meetings. Two no shows consecutively, or at a given location will result in the member’s entitlement to book in advance rescinded. The member will be automatically placed on the requested location’s waiting list. MNC will then contact the member if a place is still available the day before.
MNC shall not be liable for any illness (or allergic reaction), accident or injury that occurs to members or guests while attending meetings. MNC will not be liable for the loss or damage to any persons personal or business possessions during a meeting.
6. Cancellation
If you wish to cancel your membership you must do so in writing or by email. No Membership fees are refundable. Standing orders must be cancelled by the member at the end of the subscription period if the member is not renewing. If there are exceptional circumstances as deemed by both the Directors, then a membership may be suspended for a short period of time. This is subject to the discretion of the Directors.
The MNC may terminate your membership at any time if your conduct does not fit with the ethos of The MNC. No refund shall be given in such a case and we shall not be obliged to give you a reason for such a termination. In such a case all your details will be removed from our website. And we shall withdraw all other benefits.
